What started as a dream years ago finally took shape in June of 2024, and after months of hard work, we completed it in the spring of 2025. Between full-time jobs, planting schedules, and working on it during evenings and weekends, it took a little longer than planned - but the wait was worth it.
One unexpected blessing of that wait was the chance to reuse the beautiful old windows of the farmhouse you pass on the way to our fields. Those windows, originally installed by my father-in-law when he built that home, now have a second life here in the glasshouse. We came up about 6 windows short, so we asked my dad to build the remaining ones by hand - making the space even more personal and meaningful.
The glasshouse is open-air, and aside from a few plants and some hanging baskets we like to keep inside, it stays simple. Just like our fields, the farm and flowers are meant to be the backdrop - letting the beauty of the people who visit shine as the real focus.
