Summer

The star of our summer field is the sunflower - the flower that started it all. The height of these beauties may vary depending on the weather, but one thing we've learned over the years is that no matter the size, they always provide a stunning backdrop. We absolutely love this beautiful flower and think it's the perfect setting for any session.

But that's not all! We also add in zinnias and cosmos to create a wildflower haven. The zinnias come in every color of the rainbow, brightening up the whole field, while the cosmos grace us with delicate shakes of pink. Both are a dream to photograph.

We plant these beauties at different times throughout the season and open booking about 2-3 weeks before they bloom. Once the sunflower field starts blooming, it lasts for about 2-3 weeks. We do our best to predict the bloom dates, but Mother Nature keeps us on our toes! If we're off, we'll update you as we go. There's also sometimes a break toward the end of the summer when it gets too hot, but we'll keep you posted on that as well.
